Tell us about a local nonprofit or community organization that has made a meaningful difference in your neighborhood, city, or region. Share a specific moment or experience that helped you understand the organization's impact firsthand. What did you learn about your community's needs, challenges, and strengths through your observations or interactions with this organization? How has this insight shaped your perspective on community service and your own role in creating positive change?
Important Essay Guideline: We value authentic, personal responses that reflect your genuine experiences and observations. Applicants are encouraged to write about an organization they have directly encountered, worked with, or observed in their community, rather than one researched through AI platforms.
Original thought, firsthand experience, and personal reflection will be valued more than polished language, advanced writing style, or the use of artificial intelligence tools. Essays should reflect the applicant’s own voice and perspective.
