87th Annual Meeting of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative, Inc.

The official 87th Annual Meeting of the Members of Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CCEC) will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 12, at the CCEC headquarters, 43050 Highway 101 in Port Orford.
Board of Directors Election
In advance of the meeting, members will be sent a ballot and vote to elect a board member to represent each of the following districts:
Districts 1 & 2: Brookings and Harbor areas

Born in San Diego, raised in VA. In Oregon since 1977. Viet Nam vet, BS engineering and MS eCommerce. Retired licensed engineer (PE). I built submarines, developed and marketed high-tech equipment and software. I co-owned a hospital equipment repair company and taught college math and computer science. A healthy CCEC and Beacon are vital to our counties. As Director I will contribute to their viability and sustainability. Please cast your vote for me. Thank you. |
Northern Districts 3, 4 & 5 At-Large: Gold Beach, Port Orford and Coquille areas

Hi, my name is Johnny Jones. I was born in Reedsport Oregon. Upon finishing high school I went to work with Douglas electric coop. In 34 years I went from the bottom to the top. Been married nearly fifty years with two children. My hobbies include fishing and mushroom hunting. I spent five years as a team leader in Dc search and rescue. I hope to make a positive difference. Daniel Loshbaugh, Incumbent |
A third-generation cranberry grower, Daniel Loshbaugh brings local knowledge and business experience to the CCEC board. His strategic vision for CCEC and Beacon Broadband focuses on advancing member prosperity through innovative energy solutions and cutting edge broadband services. A recognized community leader, Dan currently volunteers at The Common Good Food Bank and has fostered youth development through coaching basketball and leading local youth groups while establishing vital community partnerships. |
District 5: Bandon and Coquille areas
Pete Radabaugh, Incumbent |
Pete Radabaugh brings diverse experience as a former educator, former owner of Schooner Creek Boatworks, and Mother's Natural Grocery partner of 22 years. A University of Oregon graduate, Pete has served on the CCEC Board since 2004 and currently represents the Oregon Rural Electric Cooperative Association. He is a Credentialed Director with Board Leadership and Director Gold certification. He enjoys walks on the Bandon beach and playing disc golf in the city park. |
Election results will be announced at the meeting.
Approval of 2024 Annual Meeting Minutes
In accordance with the cooperative's bylaws, the ballot also includes a vote to approve the minutes from the 2024 Annual Meeting. No voting will take place at the annual meeting.
Voting Method
Ballots will be sent to members either by mail or email, depending on the delivery method they selected. Both voting items—the board election and the approval of the 2024 Annual Meeting minutes—will be included on the same ballot.
